More than likely not. Jim Merrick of Nintendo Europe Marketing department said the company may not ever release the hardware specs for the console. Not really sure the reason behind something like this, but I think Nintendo just doesn’t want people to look at there console and be like oh it has less ram so I will get the PS3.
Though this will drive the hardcore fans rather insane as people like me love comparing the numbers I think it is a really honorable move on Nintendo’s part, basically what I get out of it is, the Specs don’t really mean anything. If you look at Xbox vs. PS2 you would immediately side with Xbox, however when comparing games you find the specs are not the most important thing. This I feel is the strategy that Nintendo is going after, they want to appeal to the gamers with a unique and interactive experience like never before witnessed in a video game, and if you ask me that’s more important then some hardware spread.

I personally wouldn’t mind if they were never released. In fact it kinda leaves me with peace of mind. Wouldn’t it be great if Sony and Microsoft weren’t caught up in a who-can-cram-the-most-cell-processors war. As long as the graphics are somewhat on par with the next gen then I don’t really care.

well you say on par like xbox 360 is advancing them or something? haha but seriously I think it is just very respectable. It’s like who has the most blinged out cars or whatever and yet the one that looks normal still works just as good without all the not needed junk.
