Losing Track of What UG Is

In the past few months, I have seriously changed what Unlimited Gamer was. Some of it was for the best, some of it wasn't. So what I am going to do in the next week is find a common ground between the good, the bad, and the ugly :?. As you all know UG recently changed the navigation of the site, creating general gaming areas for Playstation, Xbox, Gamecube, and the rest of the consoles. As a result we removed all the games from the left navbar. I really thought this was a cool idea and would allow us to expand.

Fact is, I lost sight of what Unlimited Gamer is, while the title implies unlimited gaming, it doesn't mean that I can handle that type of responsibility of games, so I am going to again put the games on the navbar, despite the length of titles we cover, I think it's for the best. Why you ask? Well a while back a buddy of mine, that visits the site and the forum, asked me "do you like Final Fantasy?" To which I was stunned and said "did you not see it on the site?" Finally he responded "I remember it used to be there but it's not now."

So basically I have put UG into a situation that I don't want it to be, we are a fan site and we better damn well look like one. The change will occur in a few days once I figure out how I want to put it in the navigation. I am also making changes to other areas of the site like the forums, I will be making a last attempt to save it from its currently well dug grave. I will be releasing a new layout and advertising it on a few sites that I have scoped out in the next week so watch out for that as well.

Hopefully I can salvage what UG used to be, because I liked it how it was before I tried to change everything. Anyways, back to work.
