Metroid Prime 3… Now with less Fun

In what has to be an upsetting blow to Nintendo fans all over the world that were really hoping for some use for their online connection other than virtual console downloads this is surely saddening. Metroid Prime 3 has just dropped its multiplayer functionality. I am not denying that Retro has the ability to make an amazing single player game, but in this day and age when damn near every games experience doesn’t even start until you plug it into the internet it’s hard to grasp that a First Person Shooter could possibly lack a multiplayer experience.
We still lack word of any form of co-op however, so maybe there is some hope… maybe.
