PS3 Launch Date, Meet Gears of War

It would seem that Peter Moore was all too serious at this years E3 when he said that Gears of War was the trump card against the Playstation 3 and not Halo 3. With a release date of November 17th in the UK he couldn’t be more right. However few of us live in the UK so you will be all pleased to know that we get Gears of War Come November 12th, a few days before the Brits.

In all I am stoked, like I told my buddy, when Gears of War comes out, I will buy and Xbox 360, and considering the date of release, that means I am not picking up a Playstation 3. The game will also have a collectors edition that will feature:

As well as a normal version, we’ll also have the chance to buy a collector’s limited edition version featuring the “Destroyed Beauty” art book and a bonus DVD on the making of the game, in a Halo 2-style metal box.

Sounds good to me.
