Halo 3 Walkthrough

RSS Feed for Unlimited Gamer Microsoft Hates People, Loves Money

Today was the start of CES, a convention that showcases technology, so this really isn’t very game heavy, but when companies like Microsoft and Sony are in so many other markets it is expected they would bring there gaming boxes along for the show. Today Bill Gates announced that Xbox 360 will IN-FACT have an add on HD-DVD drive despite ALL the bullshit and lies they told us for the past year that they were not going to support an form of HD DVDs and yet here they are asking for more of our money.

So for those of you that are all stoked you have your Xbox and your HDD and controllers…(how many of you needed a second job for all this?) well guess what you get to buy more stuff! I have no doubt the drive will be at least 60 bucks and could be upwards of say 120.

    I wouldn’t consider this hate, but instead deciding to add more to thus get more features and money. Doesn’t mean they hate people, just means they like money and need it to maintain a profitable business (all services and products do cost the company, they need people’s money to support and maintain :P).

    Really, I am not a xBox fan but a Nintendo and Sony fan, however, I am a Windows fan for sure. To the point, at least Bill Gates donates alot to charities and the such.

    lol with 90 billion bucks what he donates is no more than simple dollars to us. :p

    I got nothing against him just they said over and over and over they would not do this and then bam here they are doing it.

    Again this is why ps3 didn’t come out last year cause they knew the next gen stuff like blue ray would cost comsumers a butt load so they wait. microsoft launches there console early then adds on shit that should have been already there.

    Yeah, I know you comments and understand it isn’t much to Bill Gates, but he still does it :P lol

    Also, I agree, though there has been alot from Microsoft that they said were gonna be there, and didn’t quite make it or so. The Halo 3 thing thatBill Gates said would release at the time of PS3 has been declined and I heard them exclaiming about the graphics of the 360 to be just like toy story’s (in terms of smoothness, etc), which this could be a rumor only, but the graphics are not quote at that point.

    So yeah, they start saying things that cannot fully be confirmed apparently.

    Mircosoft isn’t actually that good of a system compared to others like Mac….(not blue screen of doom or “key board is unattached, press any key to continue”) Bill Gates is kinda greedy for all this, I think. His company makes more money than pretty much anyone in the world, does he REALLY need all this new, even more expensive stuff?
    I can deal with him wanting to up the competition and all, but it’s getting kinda ridiculous at this point. ^-^;

    i think microsoft should make up its god damn mind on what they are goin to do with there system. its cool and all, but they are tryin to milk us of too much money. i hope that they have some really nice games to release later on to compensate for this

    Guess what else, moore just announced that if hd-dvd does lose in the dvd format race they will also have a blu-ray additional drive for the xbox 360. Man they really keeping there options open.

    and remember blu-ray was developed by sony and partners so microsoft would be paying its compitetion if the hd-dvd fails :)
