No Final Fantasy on Xbox 360 :(

In what has to be the most direct statement from Square-Enix Japan to-date, it would seem that there are no Final Fantasy titles being developed for the Xbox 360, so basically that means aside from the recycled Final Fantasy XI, 360 fans have nothing to look forward to when it comes to the epic journey known as Final Fantasy.
Noting that the PS3 is getting Final Fantasy XIII, the website asked Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto if the Wii or Xbox 360 will also be getting games in the series. “For the Wii, we have FF Crystal Chronicles in production,” replied Hashimoto. “As for FF on the Xbox 360, it’s currently a completely blank page.”
Also when you consider the games that have actually been in planning for the last few years, i.e. Final Fantasy XIII that isn’t even going to see a 2007 release, you have to realize that if they did start making one we more than likely wouldn’t see the title until the end of the 360’s life cycle.
Though like the guy at IGN said, if enough people buy say Last Remnant it could sway Square-Enix much like Dead-Rising swayed Capcom to bring Devil May Cry 4 to the 360.
