Ace Combat 6 for Xbox 360: November 11th

Namco, the makers of the Ace Combat series, have announced the release date for it’s latest addition, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. New feature you ask? Live battlefields! Players can have up to six different battles happening at any point in time on the map. Audio bites and visuals explosions are as real as they get with vapor trails, machine guns blazing, and beautiful mid-air explosions.
But the icing on the deal? Xbox Live of course. Players can participate in a 16-plane Battle Royale or team up and fight your way up the leaderboard/rankings. It’s only coming out on Xbox 360 at the moment, so Playstation/PC owners will have to wait.
The story takes place in 2015 on the Anean Continent, which is part of the world from Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. Three new countries have been added, Kingdom of Nordennavic, Republic of Emmeria, and Federal Republic of Estovakia. The list of available aircraft include the following:

- B-52 Stratofortress
- F-16 Fighting Falcon
