Hmm, Well searching around Gamespot i’ve came across an interesting new game Developed by Square Enix. It’s Called Dawn of Mana. Suposedly it takes place in the past before any of the other “Mana” games. Like (Children of Mana, Sword of Mana ECT.) The gameplay is almost the same as the Kingdom Hearts games. It seems like an interesting game.
Gameplay/Storyline: You assume the role of a boy named Keldric, whose story revolves around the Mana Tree (Like always) Theres a new feature called the Panic System, which sounds very interesting, When you send an enemy into a panic, a number between 1 and 99 will appear above its head and start counting down to zero. The higher the number when you attack said enemy, the more likely you are to get good items from it. Some enemies will return to their business when their panic level hits zero, but others will be upset enough with you that they’ll come after you even if you’ve left them alone. You will also see the appereance of those little Wisp/Fairie-like creatures that you can use for magic, (Salamander, Dryad, Gnome ECT.) As in previous games. You can even pick up rocks, boulders, barrels ECT. and hurl them across the map to frighten your enemys.
It looks interesting, i might by it or check it out myself.
