Final Fantasy Dissidia is a Remake… Kinda

While I had saw some information about Final Fantasy IX characters being included in the game, I decided not to say anything until I saw some visual proof and well, a scan with the main character from Final Fantasy IX just surfaced so I figured thats verification enough.
The fighting system for the game looks rather interesting, I wonder if the title is actually going to be a true RPG, since it seems more like a 2d fighter from those screenshots, but that could just be the battle system for the game, its not like Square-Enix to stray from the RPG realm all too often, especially with Final Fantasy Titles.
Lastly… Zidane looks tight as hell in the scan… if only he looked that cool in FFIX.

True that Djidane/Jitan ( however we should call him! ) looks so damn hot in Dissidia; but we have to take in account that FFIX was playable only with PSX, so the design couldn’t be as nice as the PSP one.
Nevertheless, it’s still a good new for FFIX fans, as this game is the less popular of the FF series (well, kinda…). I’m personally really glad to hear Djidane and Kuja’s voices, even though Dji’s one sounds too much like Naruto’s for me. Kuja’s laugh is so evil!
