Live Blogging of the Microsoft Stream

Ok so what if I can't be there? I am going to post like i was because I am watching it, I am doing this because I noticed that G4 is missing everything and there fucking up so bad:

12:15: Lost Odyssey is shown in full HD glory, the game looks insane and is based around the main character who we have learned to be immortal, it would seem a great tragedy has befallen his country and he was amongst the chaos. Him living through this seems to have created a great deal of turmoil against him in his country and will surely be the main basis of the story.

12:20: My main man behind Gears of War Cliffy B came out to showcase some of the PC version of Gears of War. Something I know that countless PC gamers have been eagerly awaiting. The game looks great and there showing off one of the new battles in the game against a giant dude with guns on his arms, back, and like everything. Cliffy B is handling it like a champ of course though. He paused it before he finished him off so maybe more surprises are to be had.

12:25: Peter Moore is talking about how a lot of Windows Vista titles will have built in live functionality. So that means games like Gears of War, Crysis (I wonder if that means this game is really coming to the 360?), as well as other games from Epic, THQ, and Sega.

12:29: Peter Moore is showing off Call of Duty 4 which you can watch below on an early post. The game still looks amazing and should be a great addition to the COD franchise.

12:32: Live demonstration of COD4... its gorgeous, the voice overs are really authentic you feel really immersed. Not to mention the headshots are strictly business. After an enemy helicopter flies by the hide behind an opening in the fence, the other teammates chamoflauge is so good that he practically disappears.

12:38: GTA4 Need I say anymore? The trailers that have been shown thus far have been captured on the 360, so everything you have ever seen of that game is running on the 360 :).

12:40: Peter Moore is showcasing some of the Japanese Franchises that are coming to the 360.

12:41: Resident Fucking Evil 5 Not coming out in 2007 like every other game showcased in the conference, but who the hell cares... so stoked. The Full trailer of RE5 will be on live July 26th keep your eyes open for it.

12:43: Showcasing Assassins Creed, Jerusalem this time, a city that we haven't seen and the view is simply stunning, a great deal of environment that we can run around on, something the likes that we have never seen on the 360, this game truly is next-gen gaming, and will surely be blowing our minds when it comes to the 360 later this year.

Assassins Creed is simply mind blowing, the amount of ways you can achieve your objectives is limitless, I see no end to the greatness that is this game, the demonstration is proving even more impressive than the first and is truly a reflection of what the 360 can do.

We have just heard the Assassins voice for what I think is the first time, a very mysterious and strong voice actor, of which I am not currently aware of who is :P.

The fighting again is just incredible looking, everything about it just seems to flow so well, the way the environment changes as you fight and the options you have in the ways you can fight him.

Now we are seeing the Chase AI which was designed specifically for Assassins Creed, we are seeing various characters chasing after our Assassin, as well as one of his targets attempting to kill him as well as the guards. We are also witnessing the crowds unique reaction as we push them the hell out of the way to finally land the kill on our target :).

12:50: Halo 3 needs no introduction, earlier we had 5 musicians play a rock version of the Halo theme.

12:51: We are seeing what appears to be a factory that is producing all of the weapons, vehicles armor, masks and you name it from the halo universe. Its tight as hell and super detailed, like a live-action halo production... or is this the halo movie?

Halo 3 launch is 11 weeks away by the way.

12:53: Peter Moore is showcasing the Halo 3 Special addition console, and the crowd doesn't seem to care its kinda funny and sort of depressing.

The holiday line up does look really sick from the 360, Microsoft showcased a lot of incredible titles that are all coming out this year with exception to Resident Evil 5.

12:55: Halo 3 Trailer... the Brutes are talking shit and the chief is going to have to murk someone. Stuffs on Fire, chief in the flames, we are seeing some of the first gameplay of the campaign and it doesn't look like it disappoints. Cortana, Fires, Brutes, Explosions, Glossy Effects, Epic sound... and G4 goes to commercial? god damnit haha.

Shit was good, I will get every trailer I possibly can as soon as possible.
