9 Days Till 360
Well, maybe it's just me, and it might not be, but with only 9 days left till this so called "Next Gen" system hits shelves I just don't feel it. Maybe it is because I wasn't completely aware of the PlayStation back when it came out, but I just figure there be more hype on the 360 then there is. Granted there are commercials and the mountain dew every 10 minute contest.. but despite all of that I really don't care that the console is coming out. Even as I make this post I needed a TV message to remind me it was coming out, cause well with 9 days left.. is it really going to be next gen? I think you all know my feelings on this matter and well the reason I am not buying it. For those of you that have pre-ordered it hoping for the system of the gods I wish you the best of luck and hope it at least amounts to half of what you expected. However I will not just stand here and belittle it, I admit some titles look good.. but the fact is there are so few of them. Gears of War and Oblivion will easily be 2 of the best looking games to come out in a long time, but the fact is that just isn't enough to me, and the fact that GOW doesn't come out till 2006 I just don't see the reason to spend 400 bucks to play a 30 hour game like Oblivion(aside from the side quest the core is 30 hours).
Anyway that's just my rant for the day, for those of you that get the consoles drop a line and let us know what you think about it.
