This duo has hit gold many times in the Hong Cinema scene but will this translate into money in the video game industry? NOW ON with the review
Game Play/Contol: Ill put this very simply, is the Jump button gone in all the new games? I very much miss the jump button. The gameplay can be a little sloppy. If u try to run around a table or a ledge, you can expect to slide across it, not get on it. As you slide, dive, and ride a cart, you can expect to be in slo-mo 75% of the time. This can get a little annoying a point. You slo-mo meter or Tequila time runs out pretty quickly, so you will have to be smart to use it. Theres also 4 seperate power ups you obtain throughout the game. You can Heal yourself or go into slo-mo zoom shooting for example. Slo-mo zoom shooting is really cool too. I used that power up and I was able to zoom into an enemy model and shot at specific spots. For instance, I shot a dude in the leg and it took out his leg, yet he was able to limp and get back up and shoot back.

Graphics: Once again, a next-gen game that delivers on graphics. Boy was I surprised at how nice everything exploded. The lighting was pretty much spot on and looking up at some pretty bright neon signs were cool because they actually did blind you a little. Blowing everything up in the room with no lag and amazing detail was awesome.

Sound: Well this isnt really anything close to Heavenly Sword. When one is in Tequila Time and is shooting 40 some odd bullets, the sounds aren’t that spot on. And there is little music at all in this game. Well maybe there is but I can barely here anything when i am shooting up the place.

Replay Value: If you like to break doors, tables, slide down railings, run up railings all in while shooting then this should be a 8/10 for you. For me Ive played the demo at least 15 times since the release of it.

This will be a Buy for me. Collectors Edition for the PS3 of course. Hardboiled is included on the same disc. Thats more then enough reason to plop down 69.99$ plus tax.

Be ready to be disappointed.
I was so disappointed I am not going to even give this a proper review.
If you ever played NBA LIVE 07 with Tracey McGrady on the cover of it, then be prepared to save your 60$ and buy another game. This game is basically updated graphics and a new soundtrack. The movement felt sluggish and the game play was so bad it felt like controlling senior citizens on a basketball court. Whats worst, everytime I played the demo, around the start of the 2nd qt for about 1 whole minute, the demo would slow down so much its like playing in slo-mo. It was terrible. It happened 4 times so far. Every time I played basically.

Basically cut that in half cause thats how i feel about this game. Go out and buy the NBA 2k8. I assure you it will be better.
