(how often does a gamer get to but nwa on his blog? :P)
Man I love skateboarding, but I also love music, which is why its always important to me that a Skate game has a half-decent soundtrack, because god knows I would never skate to some j-pop or techno retro tracks, and neither would most of the skateboard scene.
According to Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing at EA, the game’s soundtrack “is a direct reflection of true outlaw skateboard culture. It’s a throwback to the days of underground skateboard videos when skaters created their own soundtracks that raided every genre of music.”
I like how they call it the outlaw skateboard culture. Not really sure how much of a “outlaw” I am but I guess its better than most the shit I get called but some organizations, I wonder if EA would let us skate their building? Doubt it.
The 45 song tracklist is after the jump because I don’t want to have a huge list on the homepage ;).
