God of War 3 Pushing for PS3 Rumble?

Well it would seem that the God of War franchise has more impact than I first assumed. This quote is from 1ups Matt Leone whom was at a liveblogging event with some God of War People:

9:40: Did Barlog just confirm that God of War 3 will be in 1080p with Sixaxis and VIBRATION functions on PS3? He sure did! Whoa! Well, technically he didn’t confirm GOW3, but he confirmed Sixaxis and vibration for the future of God of War. Here’s hoping he wasn’t joking, but it didn’t sound that way.

So basically what there saying is that Sony is pushing towards rumble, I think they have heard the cries of gamers around the world, and the fact that the console isn’t doing as well as Sony would have hoped I am guessing there willing to go the extra mile to provide us with some of that “Last-Generation” technology to try and save themselves.

Regardless its all up to Sony and there grips with previous statements, we all know the reason for the lack of rumble was the lawsuit with Immersion, but that has since been settled, so will Sony suck it up and deliver the gamers something they actually want?
