Halo 3 Walkthrough

First and foremost, I have to start this news post off with a game I have been waiting for… for well since the first one came out. The much delayed and anticipated Team Fortress 2 is finally showing some potential. For those of you that don’t remember team fortress it was essentially Half-Life deathmatch but with classes. You could be a pyro, engineer, spy, sniper, medic, ect. Most of the time I cept to the CTF (capture the flag) games but I know that there will be a variety of other types of objective games.

Now let’s talk Episode 2, while most of the details are rather underwraps we do know that it takes place in the countryside. We also know that there is a new type of strider that is much smaller and more agile. Overall we can expect a lot more of what we saw from Episode 1, as well as the length. However for those of you unsure about another episodic purchase, maybe the fact that Team Fortress 2 (which I mentioned above) is bundled with it will encourage your desire to spring up the extra cash.

Steam is also bundling another piece of software with the Episode 2 called Portal, because I don’t entirely understand the aspect of the game I will just let the Valve team explain:

Portal is a new type of single player game that changes how players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment in a manner similar to how the Gravity Gun changed our approach to how an object may be leveraged in any given situation.

Seems to me that Valve is continuing to innovate and evolve gaming in the PC world; did I mention that Valve is going to be pushing these games and other Half-Life 2 products onto Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3? That’s right Valve is going multiplatform, though whether or not they will use the online services of the 360 and Playstation 3 to distribute future games like the PC is still unclear.

yeah Portal probably will suck.. they always package new software with their games and it always sucks. Remember Ricochet?
