Halo 3 Packaging and September Release?

Run of the Rumor mill here people, but still, when multiple big-wig gaming sites start confirming numerous sources on such a huge games release date, you really start to wonder. It would seem that both 1up and IGN are receiving a number of indications that point to a September release date to “Finish the Fight.” In any case this seems a bit strange because most the time developers barely reach the release date or some times face small if not large scale delays. So for this title to come out in advance seems a bit fat fetched for my ears, but hell I wouldn’t be complaining if it does.

Now for the boxart, this shit is tight. First off we have like crazy uber fanboy case that has like a helmet and everything, I love Halo but… not that much… Then we have the sort of platinum case which you guys will remember from Halo 2, however this case is Black, and appears to be quite thicker. I don’t even know if theres a non-leet Halo 3 box, I guess Microsoft doesn’t want to limit anything when it comes to an awesome factor for this game ;).
