Odd Solution to Red Lights of Death on 360

While the best possible solution to fixing a 360 remains simply returning it, that is not always an option for us gamers. Those of you foolish enough not to buy a big fat warranty on first generation 360s may find yourselves in quite a rut from time to time.

The 360 is famous for freezing up and shutting down, shortly after that a user may be granted the 3 blinking red lights of death, its equal if not worse than the blue screen of death for a PC. However fear not! There is apparently a trick involving a Towel that can either temperately or even permanently fix your red-lighting 360.

Step 1: Chill out and find a towel.
Step 2: Wrap that baby up and turn the system on for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Remove towel and turn the system back on :)

Supposedly a lot of people are saying it works, and while I don't personally have the issue I can't verfiy it, the Xbox Domain has some more information if your interested on the towel fix, however no one seems to really understand why it works... and why the hell did anyone even think to try this?
