Halo 3 Walkthrough

RSS Feed for Unlimited Gamer Brain Age

Being a big DS fan I thought I’d take this oppurtunity to share with you a unique game that comes out on the DS today. Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day was a big hit in Japan selling over 5 million copies and has now made its way over to the US. It is not a traditional video game but rather a piece of software that helps you “train” your brain. When you first play the game, it will determine your “brain age” which is basically a rough idea of your mental capacity. As you perform the different mental activities the game provides (which includes the suddenly popular sudoku puzzle game) your brain age improves and you essentially become smarter. For full info on the game see Nintendo’s official site.

Why am I telling you about this? Because this IS the reason the DS is mopping the floor with PSP’s face. While Sony continually puts out same-old same-old ports and remakes, Nintendo has been coming out with unconventional games that spark the imagination of developers and gamers alike. Don’t get me wrong though, I have both systems and I love the PSP as well, just not as a gaming machine. The PSP is more like a big Ipod that happens to play videogames.

Yes. DSs are awesome. They are constanly developing new games where as the PSP just remakes old ones.

I might actually look into this, seems like something cool to do, and more productive than just playing flash games on the internet.
