For those of you that have been coming to Unlimited Gamer for some time now you would have surely noticed the server struggles we have undergone. After a server move, and more spam than I can count, I have decided that the main cause of the server problems is in fact the topsite. As a result I have shut it down, for now the files are still there, but an .htacess file prevents anyone from viewing it.
After about a day if the removal of the topsite has solved my problems I will completely erase the directory and remove the the links to the topsite on the site. Sorry for those of you that have been long lasting members of the topsite, but maybe in the future when they release the version that will better combat spam I may reopen it.

No big deal. It was nice to use, but there definitely were people abusing it. I cannot remember how many times variations of that Sohket thing were up there lol.
Thanks for running it so long. Do you have any suggestions on similar ones? I don’t seem to have many choices when I don’t run a Square related site.

yeah sohbet wasn’t even the worst one, one of them was in my top 100 processes about 14 times. The creator of the topsite is adhering to the problem, so hes gonna make it so you can only join AND get a topsite code if you were approved. So yeah until then…
