Assassin's Creed on Xbox 360?

Despite the initial release information that Assassin's Creed would be a PS3 exclusive it would seem that the possibility of this is greatly unlikely. For example the game demo was run on the Xbox 360 during E3, this suggest a few things, one is it works on the Xbox 360 hardware, and the second is that it could be also ported to the PC as many Xbox titles are. So far Ubisoft has failed to confirm that the title will still be exclusive and feels that other formats are not out of the question.

GameIndustry.biz also had some new information regarding the title of which I wasn't aware:

"Assassin's Creed is set in 1191 AD, during the Third Crusade, and sees players take on the role of hero Altair."

Either way look for the game in the coming year, if not on the PS3 then maybe on the Xbox 360?
