Future of Shooters: Cross-Console Gaming with Shadowrun

My fellow UGamers, the future of shooters is here. Today I sat down at a friend’s house and played Shadowrun on the PC…with people on the Xbox 360! That’s right, the boys over at FASA Interactive have created the first cross-console game, letting Shadowrun players go against people on either the Xbox 360 or PC.
I’ve been watching this game ever since it came out, and when I sat down to play it…let me tell you - it was prime. The different races are all balanced out equally, so no class has a clear cut advantage over the other. The only downside to the game is the lack of single player…you have to go all out multiplayer. Fine with me though, that’s how first person shooters are meant to be!

Online only shooters deprive the player of honing one’s skills, tactics, map exploration, etc. Single player campaigns and bot matches can help the new player understand the games nuances, but that’s just my opinion. Happy Hunting Shooters
