NES Turns 20

To think a system that influenced even my life was released before I was even born is rather mind boggling. None the less 20 years ago today the Nintendo Entertainment System hit the market and took the gaming industry by storm. Not only did it revitalize the industry but it brought about games and characters that will last us for generations. Among the great characters to grace the NES were Link and Mario, two of the most renowned gaming characters in history.
