RSS Feed for Unlimited Gamer Wii eBaying, Not Bad?

According to current outlooks on the Wii consoles being sold on eBay (which many are bundled with accessories and games), the profit margins are alot smaller than that of PlayStation 3’s. Heck, most of the eBay auctions for the Nintendo Wii are less than the retail prices of the PS3’s. You can’t rule out the fact people will make a profit, but it is relieving to see the majority of the auctions aren’t going in the thousands.

What does this mean? If your one of them many unlucky people whom have been wanting a Wii but didn’t camp out for a month or preorder, thus didn’t get one today, there’s hope on getting one on eBay without much overpricing or so. Heck, I’m doing this because my places sold out in the first 30 minutes… I live in a semi-popular town, yet even here there is fast snags!

In other discussion, did you get a Wii? If not, you gonna go on eBay to git it? Some rumors going around is that Nintendo is sending in weekly shipments, so it might not be over yet.

I got my Wii from Craigslist today, which IMO is WAYYYYY better than ebay. Ebay goes out of its way to make sure the buyer and seller aren’t able to interact and set up a deal outside of ebay so they can collect their little fees on everything. I just searched for “Wii” in my area today and found a guy within a 5 minute drive from me selling it for 400. I know I overpaid but I absolutely needed to play Zelda ASAP, and from what I hear, its gonna be next to impossible to get until after Christmas and I’m not one of those people who camps out all night and whatnot.

The Wii is absolutely incredible. I always supported the idea but I was also pretty skeptical of how the controls were all gonna work out in the end, and let me just say that Nintendo has something special in this little console. After 5 hours of playing Twilight Princess, I decided to take a break and pop in Wii Sports, and man was that fun. Get a Wii if you haven’t already. It is worth it.

Well, the problem with your argument is I can find a Nintendo Wii, + Zelda + Extra Wiimote + Extra Nunchuck for around or less than $450 on ebay, usually $400 or late $300’s.

Glad you got it, and that is was local. However, the only real benefit is that it is a solid price in a reasonable range, thus no bidding. Well, that;s good, but eBay does provide requirements for anyone wanting to sell one to abid by, which is 98% or better in positive feedback totals with at least 50 transactions completed (and some others). So, this does help know if it is a scam or an liable opportunity.

I wanna Wii, will make calls tomarrow to see if any place got some more yet and tell them to set me aside one ;) ebay is possible, but i tis hard… people like to do last minute bidding (literally), which is a good strategy unless everyone does it lol. Something that is $222 in the bids goes up to $420+ within it’s last 5 minutes or so (like it’s last seconds which happened to me).

    Sucks :P I wanna Wii!
