As most KH Series fans know, Tetsuya Nomura promised us some updates about whats goin down in the Kingdom Hearts world, Most of us expected a trailer of some sort for our main focus “KH3″ Yet for today at TGS he gave us this. Details on THREE Handheld Kingdom Hearts games. They are doing almost the exact same thing they did with CoM, Keeping the Series alive, untill the main event is released. and by god, i love it. Each video has a trailer that has been shown at TGS 2007, but have not been posted yet. I shall be keeping an eye out and you can expect them soon
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for the PSP, seems to be single player, this will probably be set in more of a past storyline (Setting maybe even farther back then KH1) though not “Kingdom Hearts III.” Birth by Sleep’s main characters is has not been pronounced, but he supposedly looks alot like Zack from FFVII, him and our 3 Enigmatic Knights, Ven, Terra and Aqua. This game most likely will answer alot of questions about the KH2: FM+ Secret Ending
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for Nintendo DS appears to be Roxas from Kingdom Hearts II, looks to be a Four- Player simultaneous play using members of Org. XIII, and also a new Org. XII member? All thats known is its female.
Kingdom Hearts: Coded is a mobile game, most likely only for Japanese cell phones.. It stars a familiar cast of main characters from the original Kingdom Hearts, and also seems to be set between KH1 and KH2 (Which means its not that big of a deal)
Each title is said to have a time-related theme: Birth by Sleep is “the distant past,” KH: 358/2 Days is “time of the other side,” and Code is “time has gone by.”
I’ll definatly be getting my hands on 358/2 Days, (Since i dont own a psp *tear*)

I saw the logos earlier but didn’t have the information to go along with it so good find, I fixed the images a bit for you though :P.
I think the most disappointing thing about the games are how poor the logos are, its like the og kh logo with some gradient text under it? come on you got mad cake put work into it haha.

Yes, very poor logos, but i am hella happy out the game release, i will most positively be getting the one for the DS, since its about roxas before he hits KH2, and it has 4 player mode!
And i will need a PSP because all my theories for the upcoming games are about Terra & Co. And Birth By Sleep seems to star them

Do you guys feel all these hand held spin offs sort of whore off a series? It seems like this is happening a lot nowadays and its kind of lessening the value of a series IMO.

No not with Kingdom Hearts, Tetsuya could give you chuncks of the storyline in a handheld version, Then blow ur mind when the main game comes out

This is the greatest thing eva!!!! but I am wondering…in order to play the DS game do you have to play it with others or can you play it by your self?

You can play by yourself as Roxas.
