New TP Info *MAJOR SPOILERS*

If major Twilight Princess news straight from Nintendo Power doesn’t make a late Friday night more exciting, I don’t know what does. Here are the points of interest from the article (HUGE SPOILERS):

• Link can use two clawshots (formerly hookshots) at the same. Using one will act the same way as a normal clawshot should, but using both will act like a Tarzan/Spiderman vine swinging adventure
• They called the village you begin the game in “Ordon.” So I guess the official name is Ordon Village.
• New Items: Ball and Chain and Spinner. The Ball and Chain is a heavy item Link uses to mow down enemies and break down weak walls (possibly a mace?). It slows him down. The Spinner’s useage is unclear to me from the description. Here’s the direct quote - “a rotating platform with which Link charges into enemies and hovers over the ground. It has gears that make it latch onto trades and reach otherwise inaccessible areas.”
• There will be 3 types of bombs
• Confirmed sidequests: Golden Bug and Poe Soul hunts
• One heart container needs five heart pieces to fill up
• Zelda is the Twilight Princess
• Midna will be used later in the game as a means to teleport

I really, really liked to hear that the heart container takes five hearts now to fill up. This tells me that they are making a concerted effort to make the game difficult and appeal to the hardcore fans. It’s hard to believe that this game is less than a month away.
