Twilight Princess Hype Revived - Improved Wii Controls

If you thought the hype for Twilight Princess had died off, you're not alone. But now a few months before its release it appears that the hype machine is starting up again.

Shigeru Miyamoto spoke with Japanese gaming publication, Nintendo Dream and revealed that players using the Wii version of the game will be able to swing the controller to slash Link's sword. Previously it was the B button that would do this, with Nintendo's reasoning that the player might get too tired. But Miyamoto himself said "Upon actually playing it, it's more interesting this way." Good call Shiggy.

And since the B button is now freed up, it will be used to facilitate the shooting of arrows. At E3 players had to hit the D-pad to shoot an arrow.

I gotta say, I was leaning toward the more pure GameCube version of the game, but now the Wiii version looks very tempting.

To cap it off,Miyamotoo left us with this statement: "I can't talk about it yet, but this Zelda has a lot to it, what you played at E3 was just the tip of the nail." I don't think I've ever heard a game hyped so much by its creators. It would be a disaster if it was anything less than perfect.
