wow, congrats to these amazing manufacturers. Just two years ago, Sony held the gaming markets in a choke hold, Nintendo was in the pooper and Microsoft was kicking the OG Xbox to the curb to never make a 1st party game for it ever again. In just two years, Microsoft and Sony is losing a ton of money for different reasons, while Nintendo played their trump card. As of yesterday August 22 2007, Nintendo has surpassed Microsoft in console sales. The 360 has been out for nearly 2 years and the Wii has been out for almost 10 months now. Ps3 seems to be taking the pace of the 360.
I just have to say, good job Microsoft and Sony. Because you two money bags have been at each others throats, you forgot about poor little Nintendo. Now look what happened. Nintendo Wii is now in 1st place and the 360 is in 2nd place, while Sony is in dead last in the Next Gen wars. Good job losers. Have fun trying to keep up with Nintendo. You might be lucky to catch the sales of the DS. In your dreams.

That’s kind of amazing when you think about it. Just a few years ago Nintendo was basically dead. Now look at them. Everybody wants a frickin wii. How the hell did they do that?

You wait give it a year & see how many of those Wii’s end up traded in because basically… there sh1t. Most people i know who bought 1 on day 1 have already traded in or swapped there’s. I’d say 40% of those Wii’s sold will spend most of there life collecting dust all year & only get pulled out over chrimbo when ur dads pissed & ur nans round. Unless u LOVE Mario this console just sucks, casual gamer who’ll only ever buy party games have cause the surge in Wii sales, if the Wii was 300 quid like the 360 or 400 like the PS3, 4get it now casual, chrimbo players would b spending that……. sorry but 4 me the Wii is Sh1t!

The problem with the wii is just like the gamecube its a lack of games, once super smash and prime 3 and shit come out I think it will do better, but if nintendo continues to depend on themselves with games like mario galaxy and mario kart I just wander how long that success can last without some serious third party games..

Hey “Xboxsucks” Dont be dissing on Microsoft unless you got a damn good reasons as to why they “Suck”.
And wow guys, i have to say, im not amazed, i knew it was comming, i mean cmon for the cheapest system AND all the capabilities with the controllers, It was a matter of time before EVERYONE wanted one,
and i mean how often do u see people hating on Nintendo, i mean those guys have been at it since the beginning,
Right now its too the point where everyone wants a Wii, whether you be a Sony, or Microsoft fan,
I mean cmon, even I want a Wii.
