Final Fantasy XIII To Last 10 Years?

Holy hell is that a long time? Or is it? Consider this, If Final Fantasy 7 were to be remade, it already being the year 2007 would mean that the Final Fantasy 7 game was milked for 10 years, because if a remake is to drop that would probably not happen until 2008 in the earliest.
I guess we all need to hope for the best, and for the most part that the characters and world of 13 is cool enough to be played for the next ten years, though one has to wonder if the Final Fantasy titles will continue after 13, or if they are going to be putting all of there focus on milking this title and it’s world? Also more verification that the title is of course not going to be PS3 exclusive… Last I checked console live is 6 years anyway, so these titles will span the next generation of gaming lol.
Hashimoto also classified four groups of developers working on four distinct aspects of the Final Fantasy series: the Nova Crystallis group, the Ivalice Alliance (Final Fantasy Tactics, Revenant Wings), the Crystal Chronicles group (that works “exclusively on Nintendo hardware,” according to Nintendo Dream) and the MMO-centric Final Fantasy XI group.
