Guitar Hero 3 Announced for Fall '07

On May 23rd Activision, the new owners of the Guitar Hero series, has announced the third installment, Guitar Hero III. It's expected to come out on all the new platforms including Xbox 360, PS2, Playstation 3, and the Nintendo Wii. "Rockers" will be taken to new venues, have unlockable content, more music, and boss duels. Another thing to add to this new addition is the possibility of online multiplayer support, although there is not stone cold evidence for it.
The controllers for the new game will be wireless, and will included Gibson Les Pauls and Kramer guitars. The juicy new songs for the game include the following:
- The Rolling Stones - Paint It Black
- Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock
- Beastie Boys - Sabatoge
- Tenacious D - The Metal
- Weezer - My Name Is Jonas
- Muse - Knights Of Cydonia (i just orgasmed)
- Kiss - Rock And Roll All Night
- Alice Cooper - School's Out
- Fog Hat - Slow Ride
- Living Colour - Cult Of Personality
- Heart - Barracuda (i just wet the floor again lol)
Also it is possible that Velvet Revolver and Queens Of The Stone Age may be on the Guitar Hero III bill.
