Crysis Ahead of it’s Time

For those of you that haven’t watched the latest gameplay demo for the game Crysis I suggest you do. Crysis is one of the most impressive games to date, and it would seem even more impressive than games of the future. Bernd Diemer, a senior Game developers of Crytek explained over this weeks game conference that the game Crysis requires to much power for it to run properly on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

In other words the next-generation gaming consoles, don’t have what it takes to handle next years PC gaming. Not that it’s much of a surprise considering the Crysis game will require Direct X 10 just to run as the developers intended it to. It would seem the game could possibly make it to the 360 or PS3, but it’s going to be like PC to console ports of the past, it just wouldn’t live up to it’s PC counter-part.
