xbox live is bogged up, expect major suckage

So for the past hour i have been trying to recover my live account unsuccessfully. Ive tried this at a buddys house around 10pm earlier in the evening. I was able to create a brand new account though to play halo 3 on. Even with that, halo 3 was slow, laggy and very very inconsistent with match finding. Better luck next year? seriously, all i want to do is play games.

They are having some teething problems right now , try NOT to recover your gamertag whilst this is happening . They are working on it so have Patience my man , seems to be working OK this morning though . Users may have experienced laggy games , bad sign ins and blades sticking on the dash .

it was awful, u think after having the system out for 2-3 years they would have put up more servers and stuff. Specially during a companies biggest time of year.
