E3 2007 to be in July

So as DeathGod reported below, E3 will indeed be downsized to a large press gathering rather than a large fan gathering. Now GameSpot is saying that it will be held in July instead of May. Why? To allow more time for publishers to refine their holiday release titles. Makes sense, I guess... but the month of May is gonna lose a lot of its magic in the future. Schools are letting out, the weathers getting nice, birds are chirping, kids are outside laughing and singing... but missing will be the giddy anticipation of the largest interactive media exposition known to man.

On a lighter and completely unrelated note, I just opened my new site, www.gametabs.net. It's a guitar tablature site dedicated to video games. So guitarists, check it out. Kinda small right now, but I add tabs everyday and eventually it will be the largest site of it's kind.
