Applying for Staff:What we are looking for? Regardless of your position request we are looking for very active and dedicated users that are willing to go above and beyond the normal user and become a part of growing community. Though the demand could be heavy at times, we feel knowing that there are people out there that respect and use the information you have worked on is fairly rewarding. Although we hire a variety of postions we value all that anyone can contribute, don't feel hesitant if you think you can't contribute as much as others. So just show me what you got and see if you have a shot. Journalist One of the most important jobs if you ask me, and well not done well enough by me in my opinion. A news reporter needs to have a good deal of sources and if not they can easily be provided. They have to have fairly good grammer, better than mine will be perfect. Also they need to be able to summarize articles very well. If any of the journalist are caught plagiarizing they will be removed and banned from the site. None the less, this postion is not so heavy on the long term work, but will reqiure you to post something about 2 times a week or more. Also keep in mind this position can easily be lost due to inactiveness. Content Writers Without a doubt the most valued of staff, and for the most part where the bulk of the work is done. A content writer must be able to write extensive guides, or bits of information on various games. As of right now, we would like an active guide writer someone we can expect work from in the future. However, if you have a guide and would like to contribute it to the community, by all means please do. As a guide writer, we ask that your grammer and spelling also be on par, for the fact that a lot of fans come to the site to read them, so we need them to understand them. Review Writer A rather ignored position for the simple fact that all of our old reviews were removed for the reason that they were old and poorly written. This staff would be reqiured to review about 1-2 games every two weeks if at all possible. Or if you are not willing to write full time please feel free to contribute when at all possible. Also note that your guides will be linked back to you in any way shape or form, so this could actually be used as a way to advertise your site, if you are looking for a few free hits. Else Well, I am sure there are many positions that some of you could come up with, and well feel free to apply with them just tell me why I would need you in that area, nd I will consider the position. |
