Nintendo has announced its WiiWare service today, which is a platform for indie developers to create and sell their own small budget games for download to other Wii owners on the Wii Shop channel. The latest Nintendo Power contained a clue that seemed to suggest that Final Fantasy III for the DS would be wi-fi enabled. That clue was the official Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection symbol printed on the same page as the feature they were doing for the game.
