Head to the Zenan Bridge and enter. Talk to the soldiers and the Knight Captain. Next, head to Guardia Castle and
visit the King, then go talk to the cook in the kitchen. After a short scene, try to leave Guardia Castle. The cook
will stop you can give you a [JERKY] and a [POWER TAB]. Head back to Zenan Bridge and save. Enter and talk to the
Knight Captain. After a scene you can now cross the bridge, but you'll have to fight. Before you cross, talk to the
Knight Captain and answer "Yes." He'll give you a [GOLD HELM].
Head across the bridge and you'll encounter Deceased and Magus's General, Ozzie.
Ozzie talks shit and then comes after you with Deceased. This battle is really simple. All you have to do is attack Ozzie with all 3 characters and the Deceased will die and the battle is won. He will run away. Chase after him and you will have to fight 3 more and Ozzie. Repeat the same tactic. Just use physical attacks when you attack Ozzie because he cancel's magic. after the battle, chase him and you'll have a real boss to fight.
This battle is very easy. You only need to worry about the "Doom, Doom, Doom" attack, which damages the party for high damage. Heal with Aura Whirl and Mid Tonics. The boss has 2 parts, which are weak and strong against opposite elements. The top is weak against Shadow and Water and Absorbs Lightning & Fire and the bottom part is opposite that. The bottom part has less HP, plus the top casts MP Buster, which drains all MP from the character that defeats it, so you should kill the bottom part first. While Marle is casting Ice on the top, have Crono and Lucca use Lightning and Fire on the bottom. Do not use attacks like Flame Toss or Fire Whirl because it will hit both parts and heal the top. Also after you kill the bottom, have Lucca and Marle use Antipode against the Upper Part. I deals more damage and is a shadow-based attack. After the battle, leave the bridge and head south to the village of Sandorino. Enter the Elder's House to witness a scene between Toma and the Elder. Leave and head to the Dorino Inn. Talk to Toma, who hints for you to go to the Southwestern Woods, and then get a room to heal up. Head into the Residence and examine the drawer with the shining dot. Next, talk to the old man and then walk away. He will stop you and ask about the [NAGA-ETTE BROMIDE]. Give it to him and he will unlock the drawer. Inside is a [MAGIC TAB]. Go south and enter Fiona's Villa. Open the chests for [MID ETHER x2]. Leave and go southwest to the Cursed Woods. Inside the chests are a [MID TONIC] and a [SHELTER]. Head to the back of the woods and go behind the lone bush. Walk into it and you will find yourself in a cave with a bed and table and stuff. Walk to the left and Frog will appear. Talk to him and he will be surprised that the King has been injured. He then goes into a fit of self-pity and won't let you open the chest to the left. Open the chest to the right for a [MAGIC SCARF] and then leave. Head south to Porre. Enter the Market and look left of the little girl for a [POWER TAB]. Buy everyone a [GOLD SUIT] and Marle and Lucca [BERET]s. Leave and head to the pub and pay Toma's pub. You've gained some clues that tell you to go to Denadoro Mts. north of Sandorino Village. Enter and grab [300G]. Head northeast and head up between the trees to the next area. Grab the [MIRAGE HAND] out the chest and equip it on Robo. Leave to the previous area and head to the left. You'll get a scene with Tata, the "Legendary Hero" you've heard about. Fight the Goblins. Another scene and then a fight with an Ogan and a Goblin. The Ogans are the same as the Goblins except as long a they have their Hammer, they have a high defense. To get rid of their hammers, have Lucca use Flame Toss or Fire, then kill it off. |
