Mission 19 - Forces Collide

The level begins with you facing off against a number of normal bad guys.
Once they are defeating jump into the portal. Now in this next room you don't
actually have to kill any enemies, in fact it's not even possible to kill
them. What you need to do is note that you aren't actually reflecting in any
of the mirrors except one, and that's the mirror you have to smash. Break the
mirror and another will start reflecting your image. Move from mirror to
mirror until eventually the final one smashes and all the enemies just drop
dead. Now jump into the portal. In this room the special condition is that
you have a time limit constantly draining in the background, in order to
actually proceed without fighting any more enemies, you must defeat the
enemies in front of you before the hourglass completely drains. Use Devil
Trigger and Beowulf here to complete the challenge easily. Descend the
makeshift steps and examine the shiny object to get the Samsara.
Jump through the portal and pick up any Green Orbs you may need in this room.
Take the portal that was beside the large tablet back to where you first
started this mission, then through the portal again to reach the mirror room.
Examine the golden statue to use the Samsara then jump through the portal.
Cross the bridge and use the statue if need before before you proceed.
It's finally time to battle the giant blob. The blob itself really does
not have a lot of dangerous attacks, while the ones he was are powerful,
they can be easily dodged by remaining airborne most of the time. A good
way to be offensive while remaining defensive is to fight with the
Rebellion and just keep jumping into the air and doing the downward
slash, it will keep you moving and deal good damage. The more difficult
part comes when the boss sinks into the ground and sends his little
minions after you, if you want to minimize you damage here you should wait
until you see a few of them pop up then burst into Devil Trigger and clean
up the field using simple sword slash combos. If you have to Devil
Trigger you can try the same thing while in normal form of just jump into
the air and try to fight from above. When they're all killed the boss
reappears and you can go back to your old tactic again. Now this is
actually the more difficult half of the battle, after the boss has lost
50% of its health a scene occurs. Now you no longer have the ability to
use Devil Trigger and you also can use attacks based on your fighting
style (circle button attacks) but the extra body on your side more than
makes up for it. He can help you double the damage you do to the boss as
well as take care of most of the enemies that spawn while you work just to
keep yourself alive. If you have any problems with this battle it's going
to likely be trying to keep those enemies at bay, so if all else fails
just whip out the Kalina Ann and blast them a new orifice or two.
