Why even Marry? Fable being the short game it is marriage is sort of a fun little side quest. And the sex scenes are worth a few good laughs. And if that doesn't satisfy you then get a divorce no better way to do that beating your wife. Not to mention the 600 evil points you get by divorcing. But there are some good things about marriage. If your good to your women she will buy you things like weapons and armor. Also you will get money for the marriage and a lot of good points. Lady Grey Unlike other wives lady Grey has a rank. She is the mayor of Bowerstone and fairly attractive(talking in the game..). Not to mention accomplishing the marriage will get you some goodies and allow you to enter one of the demon doors in the game. And if you plan on getting all 25 silver keys you have to get into the mayors house somehow. And marriage is the only option. Getting Grey to fall for you This is no easy task, nor a hard one. First you need to get into Bowerstone North. In order to do so you should finish the witchwood quest. You need to also have finished the arena side quest. Now that your in Bowerstone North you will find Grey to the right of where you first enter. She will be standing there all lonely talking about how she wants a husband but doesn't know where to find the right man. She will begin asking you to do things. The first thing you have to do is go get Lady Grey a present. She doesn't tell you what to get her so you have to ask around town. If you don't want to ask around town she wants a Black Rose which can be bought in Bowerstone. If the shops are not open like they were when I did the quest you can use a golden carrot to change the time of day. Now Lady grey has the flower and things its all very sweet and such. But you have to be in the marriage for the love not the money. So if you haven't already bought a house your going to need to do that. Getting Greys Necklace Grey will talk to you about how she lost her necklace and she wants it and would be so happy if you found it.. well of course she wants you to find it. You can ask around town if you want, but i wouldn't waste your time. You will have to head over to Oakvale. Now if you don't have a shovel/Spade yet your gonna need to purchase one. Head over to the large beach in the south of the town. In-between the two boats, one is like in pieces. You should dig and you will find her necklace. Return to Bowerstone and give lady Grey her necklace. Now This next part may be different depending on if you took whispers life at the arena and Thunder swore to kill you. If you did kill whisper than Lady Grey will be talking about choosing you or Thunder. So you will have to go up to windmill hill and meet with Thunder. He will request the battle take place on Headsmen hill and you will have to continue up hill. Now you meet with Thunder and the battle begins. The fight with Thunder Thunder uses very basic melee combat attacks and on occasion he will charge up and a circle of lightning will surround him. At this point i recommend backing up or you will be struck. Not only is it around his body but it gradually spreads out around his body. Thunder will than take you and himself off the cliff down to a small pond near a demon door. Continue fighting until Thunder runs into the cave. IMPORTANT! At this point I know it seems weird. But you should fish in the little pond that you have been battling on. This is one of the only times you can get this Silver Key. Final area is just like the rest. Just get up in Thunders face and tear him up with your sword. He will then honor his lose but suggest Grey is making a horrible choice. Aww Marriage Head back to Lady Grey where she will ask for your hand in marriage. Well sort of. You have to go out and buy a wedding ring... NOT A FAKE ONE! Once you have married you will have access into the manor. And your now married to Lady Grey..WEW! The Goodies Now that your inside theirs 2 things you can get. Examine lady Greys' bed to find a Silver key. And in the back of the bedroom is a Silver Key chest. If you have 20 Silver keys your in luck. You can get The Katana Hiryu(Legendary Weapon). |
