Rude is a stubborn mule and is almost always at Rufus’ side. He is fairly skilled but still no match for someone like Cloud, none the less he offers his support along with Reno to fight along side with Cloud and others even if they don’t ask for the help.

Rude has a very small role in the game and is always with Reno. He’s rather quite and not as cocky as Reno and thus offering us with little dialog and information about him. We know he is a Turk and has been for some time but other than that not much is known about this silent killer.
Role in Advent Children (Spoilers) |
Like Reno he plays a helpful role instead of a troublesome role like in the game. He and Reno aid Cloud and the gang in the battles against the SHM a number of times and are actually the cause for this whole problem. Because it was the Turks that took the Jenova piece it would seem they and Shinra are rather to blame for getting the others involved. None the less Rude chooses to fight for the sake of the people of Midgar and continually puts himself in harms way right along side with Reno.
