FYI, there is an intro movie if you let the start menu stand for a minute or so. Be sure to set it so the logo is barely visible when you start a new game; not too dark, but not all the way to one side unless you must.
So you start off with just control of the camera as the game begins. Look around and get a taste of that bright sun!
