October Contest has been Closed... You can still donate out of the goodness of your heart.(Note.. I do want to have another contest but I really need to see more positive reactions from the community about having one, until then I don't know when we will have another)Donations ContestHow it works At the start of every month we will open up donations from you the fans, the fee will be that of at least 5 dollars to enter the contest. For those of you that would rather just donate less that is fine, but for sake of paying for the prices I need the entrance fee to be something at least tangible. So what do we win? At the start of the month the price will be posted on the home page and the donations page. In case of delays in things like games and other prizes you may ask for another prize by request after winning of equal or lesser value. Now as this is the first time that Unlimited Gamer has ever done this the first month prize will not be anything insane, just because I need to make sure I don't give away a PSP when people only donate like 14 bucks, that would not be very fair for me. Where do the Donations go? Everything that is donated goes into the site, contest, and renewing VBulletin Licenses. Also as some of you know this site is on a Dedicated Server so that means we use a lot of resources and with them increasing every month things like donations will also be used to support future server cost if any more are required. Why Donate? You don't have to if you don't want to, donating is something that has always just been a good gesture to a site you like and would like to support. In most cases though, those that donate just end up getting some extra forum features or more downloads or something of that nature, that is why I want to open up this contest, this way the people that donate are getting something back, sort of a game of lottery. How do we get the prizes? When you submit your donation you are required to have a valid email address whether it be attached to your Paypal name or in the description you send your donation with, the reason for this is so I can get in contact with you when you win. When I have contacted you I will have to get your Address so that I can send you the package. I assure you I will not release any of the information that is given to me and I will keep it all confidential. Shipping? I will cover all shipping cost that are in the United States, depending on how many enter the contest I may require you help pay for shipping, I have no idea how much it is to ship out of this country but when I find out I will address my position on the fact.
