Ok the dawn of the new site is upon us, however there is not a good alternative to the default forums for Drupal yet and I think I might want to just simply wait on it, so if any of you guys have questions and or want to discuss something to it on the news or on the appropriate game pages. Please note you can comment on every page of the site now so the entire site is your very own forum :0, I know it blows your mind doesn't it ;).
Update: Never mind these forums may just work out after allz :P
So far I have managed to convert a couple guides and am gradually adding guide content UG has never seen before and guide content that should have been on UG months ago. That includes guides for Mass Effect, Bioshock and Assassin's Creed. I have already finished the Mass Effect Guide but still need to do the sidequests and clusters for that game so there is a lot of Mass Effect Content still to be done.
Bioshock guide I have started putting up got a couple of pages up and moved over the content I had on Bioshock on old UG.
Lost Odyssey guide progress is the first disc which is like 9 pages but there a lot more work than simple Mass-Effect and Bioshock guide because each page has a lot of information. But yeah wew progress.
The Halo 3 guide was added a while ago so thats no big deal, I think when I finish the Bioshock guide I will get the Gears of War guide converted and then see where I stand at that point ;).
Though it may be strange for me to be posting on a site that not everyone can see and by not everyone I mean most people :P. This is because it sort of motivates me to actually do things when every time I open the page I am reminded that I am not done what needs to be done yet. I have a couple of guides done and converted and will be working on getting more of the guides converted the following days.
My goal is to get this site up before I go on vacation which is July 12th, hopefully nothing will go wrong if I get it up prior to that date. Note that the site will more than likely not be 100% what it should be upon release because this build of the system I am using doesn't even have all of the modules I would like to use on this site available yet or they are in beta.
Chrono Trigger is finally being ported to the portable platforms, and lucky for most gamers it's coming to the DS rather than the PSP in a surprising move by Square-Enix if you ask me personally. The game will be an enhance port to the DS and how much enhancing that entitles is unknown but we know it will follow the same story and timeline ect so no worries there ;)
While this post wouldn't actually be posted on the site for a couple of days or maybe a week or so, I still want to post it now. Why? Simple, because I am adding mad content to this site right now and I can say with the utmost certainty that a lot of it is the work of TheGum.
Some of you may know who I am talking about, others may. I first hosted TheGum's work on our Gears of War section and it proved to be the highest trafficked guides we ever posted, later on down the road I decided to post the Halo 3 walkthrough and sure enough TheGum had his hands in this one too. Now here we are months after no updates on UG and I went looking for some new content and sure enough TheGum is all over the grid. Covering games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto 4, Mass Effect, Bioshock and Assassin's Creed just to name a few.
