It would seem that in the past day a lot of notice is being pointed to the Best Buy either goof or huge relevance of a secret. Best Buy has began accepting Pre-Orders for the upcoming FPS Halo 3. Not only that but the most bizarre is the date at which it states shipping. 11/16/05 is the date of the Halo 3 shipping based off Best Buy’s website. The most curious about this information is the fact that Microsoft has already stated previously the title will be released the same time as the Playstation 3. So whether or not this is just a mishap on Best Buy’s part it is still worth recognizing.

Although I am sure you guys all know that I have some serious problems with Halo 2, never has it be written in an article so clearly and with such good information to back it up. You can Read 1up.com’s interpretations and even solutions to Fixing Halo 2. The article isn’t just some oh the ending sucked or they didn’t make the single player long enough. For the most part the article hits hard where it all matters, the multiplayer. So for those of you that have ever doubted that Halo 2 wasn’t the best game of the year, and if you needed prove it didn’t deserve game of the year, then the fact that know one else seems to be pointing out any games flaws should make it fairly clear.

First off I am sorry that half of it was up and only for the news for as long as it was. But I just up and went jet skiing for about 2 hours so I kinda left the site half done there for a short period of time.

This Tuesday August 30th comes the day some of us have been waiting for, for a long time. Personally I never expected to have not gotten the map pack yet but as of recent with my disgust for Halo 2 I was holding back on the fact. Although its nice to know that just like Bungie Promised all of the maps will be available for free this Tuesday. So happy fragging.

With announcements of updates involving Half-Life 1 Deathmatch we can’t overlook the much anticipated DOD:Source. Day of Defeat was made popular shortly after Counter-Strike 1.4/1.5. Valve has assured us that DOD:Source will see a release some time this year and rumors point towards a Fall release date so possibly sometime in late September would be a good bet.

For those of you that were less than optimistic about this layout then don’t fear, I will be tweaking it slightly and even adding some darker aspects to create a nice balance between the two.

As for other news, I start school on Monday and have some AP homework to do, but I will work the site into my schedule and post some more sections during september.

As for the donation contest, I am considering delaying it because the DVD I wanted to give out as a prize is well, not coming out in september like expected. Instead AC is coming out some time expected in November. So yeah stay tuned as I might reconsider opening the contest and just giving something else out as a prize.
