VU Games announced today that Monolith’s upcoming First Person Shooter has gone Gold today. The slated release date is slightly later than expected for October 18th, originally the 10th on Ebgames.com. Though the delay does not sway me in anyway I can always wait a few more days for such an awesome game.
As for those of you who don’t know what F.E.A.R. is, it is a FPS for the PC, and well it is a doom like game but a lot more fun, better physics, and pure carnage. The demo is available if you just Google it or search on File planet. Not only that but we are expecting a Multiplayer demo in the coming weeks prior to the full release.

Though the news of a November release is not new, the price is. The Title will be available for download via Steam for $12.99. For those of you thinking it was free, it is an expansion pack so what did you expect. However I am not complaining what so ever. I look forward to the release. If you want to read up on some more information on Half-Life 2 Aftermath or the release check out Shack News.com for there article.

For those of you that remember that awesome looking battle Dynasty style Beat’em up for the Xbox 360 during E3, this is the same title. But there were some mild changes. Like nothing LOOKS as good as it did during E3. So for those of you backing up Xbox 360 and it not being run at full spec, this is just trash I am sorry. The graphics look the same as the original Xbox. Hell that game Black looks better than anything the 360 revolution crap has shown.
So yeah download the trailer and then get the E3 trailer, it’s funny how much crappier something gets overtime? that shouldn’t happen but it did. Though in Xbox defense, Gears of War remains fairly good looking.

Ok, so I know you all been waiting for the mgs4 trailer after seeing that teaser at e3. But the fact is, I don’t know, I am not really optimistic about this title. It seems Kojima just can’t make a normal game if it kills him, but that’s what he is good for i suppose.
Either way check out the trailer on the TGS page:
Ok.. I hadn’t watched the trailer since it was uploading, so now I say my report… OMFG Graphics WOW, Kojima? Insane? WOW.
Anyway.. that is in fact snake, after hearing his transmission it is snake, it seems like there is a full scale war going on so there will be lots of killing. Also it seems you have the aid of new robots of some sort, but yeah… must watch now.. shitz cool, I will update you on a better quality version but deal with it

Ok I am sure some of you are pondering that news header, basically no one knows if the Revolution name will stay. During E3 it was announced as the project name, however like many systems before them they are hinting at a name change. Evidence of this can be found in the removal of all Revolution branding on the images.
As for the Controller, we got full line of colors all matching that of the color consoles. A few sites hinted that the console line up might have gone to black and white, but after the release of the color images we know we can have matching controllers for our shiny consoles.

Well, the moment of truth, and that truth… actually still plenty of unanswered questions, by the looks of it KHII will not released in the states in time for Christmas. The game will be released on the 22nd of December in Japan, no dates have been slated for a North American or European Release, but unless they announce a worldwide distribution I highly doubt it will get here in time to be under my tree.

As expected, the 2005 Tokyo Game Show featured the unveiling of the highly secretive Revolution controller. Iwata finished his keynote speech but one minutes ago and we are just now getting images of Nintendo’s latest innovation. Just to warn you though, it is not what you are expecting. This is the move innovative piece of hardware I’ve ever seen on a game console.
The wireless controller consists of two parts. For your left hand is part of a controller with a joystick and two trigger buttons on it. The other part is actually a remote control. On the front of the remote control is a D-Pad, A button, Start and Select and two a and b buttons used for retro gaming (if you turn the remote sideways it becomes an NES controller), a “Home” button and my favorite, the power button, just like a true remote control. Near the bottom is four lights, indicating which player the controller represents. On the back is a B button that is used a trigger.
Two sensors can be set up beside the TV and used to detect the angle and position of the controller. This can be used to play FPS games in a whole new way.
All in all not much can be said about the controller yet. Yes it’s weird and yes it’s something completely new. I know there are gonna be many gamers who look at it and write it off without giving it a chance. That’s because people are afraid of change and what they don’t yet understand. If you are one of these people I’d like to mention that during Iwata’s keynote speech, Square-Enix and Konami chimed in on how much they like the controller. I think a lot of developers are gonna enjoy developing on the Revolution.
But right now there really isn’t much else to say. Of course there will be residual news tomorrow that we will update you all on ASAP. For now take a look at this 1up.com article that explains the controller in depth.
